The model credits you with a service you do not offer
Why does the answer offer something we have never done?
A model fills gaps with whatever is common in your trade. A practice gets home visits added, a workshop gets a towing service.
This is the most expensive finding of all, because the customer arrives with an expectation you have to disappoint. The appointment is spent before it starts.
That is why we ask you not only what you offer, but explicitly what you do not offer.
What to do about it
- Write on your site what you do not do. One sentence is enough, and models read it.
- Keep the list of your services short and specific, without umbrella terms.
- Report the wrong entry where it comes from, usually a directory with fixed categories.
- Enter the invented service with us as an exclusion, then the next check flags it immediately.
Where this stops
We can only spot an invented service if you entered it as an exclusion. Anything else would be guesswork.
